What is Fabrion?

For factories and workshops that make to order or to stock and want a proper system for work orders and scrap tracking.

Fabrion is a production management system that tracks work orders, machine capacity and quality checks. A work order created from a sales order uses its bill of materials to determine raw material needs and the sequence of operations.

The production planner spreads the weekly plan across machines and shifts. The operator starts the work order from a terminal and enters the quantity produced and scrapped, and once quality control approves the batch, the product is moved into the warehouse.

Work orders

A work order is opened with the product's bill of materials, quantity and due date. The operator enters start, downtime and finish times, and the quantity produced is posted to the order.

Capacity planning

Machine and line utilization is shown by day and by shift. Orders at risk of missing their due date are flagged on the plan and can be moved to another line.

Quality tracking

Incoming, in-process and final inspection measurements are recorded per batch. Nonconforming products are set aside as scrap or rework, and the reasons are reported.
