What is Medru?
For independent pharmacies and pharmacists who own more than one pharmacy.
Medru is pharmacy software that manages drug stock, expiry dates and prescription records. Medicines are scanned in and out by their 2D barcode, and the information needed for reporting to the İTS drug tracking system is collected as items are recorded.
During the day, the pharmacist fills prescriptions and dispensed medicines are deducted from stock. In the evening, a wholesaler order is prepared for low-stock items, and at the start of each month products nearing expiry are listed and set aside for return or promotion.

01Drug stock tracking
Medicines are received into stock by scanning their 2D barcode and tracked by batch and serial number. Shelf location and minimum stock levels can be set.
02Expiry alerts
Medicines nearing their expiry date are listed every month. A warning appears on screen if someone tries to sell an expired product.
03Prescription records
Prescription number, patient, doctor and medicines are recorded and grouped by prescription type. Movements of red and green prescription (controlled) drugs are tracked separately.
04Supplier orders
An order list is created for medicines that drop below their critical level. The list is sent to the wholesaler, and the incoming invoice is matched against stock.
